OK.  Fair enough.  Guess it depends on your point of view.  I've met 
some old geezers though who wouldn't know a racist if they were slapped 
upside the head with one.  Cue Carter - who appears to realize, just as 
the words are leaving his mouth, that maybe he stepped over some sort 
of obscure line.  That's what I saw.
