On the Despro I had to remove the sniffer for a couple of CDROMS, all
the older Sony devices as I recall. The built in sound card also gave
me grief. Once I did that it seemed to go OK. Oh, and if you use a
SCSI hard drive (built in Adaptec ctlr) and an IDE CDROM which seems to
have been the common setup, be sure you specify 'other IDE CDROM' in
the install screen - damned setup wants to see a SCSI CD if the
controller is there so you have to force it use the IDE CD or you wind
up not being able to find the CDROM on re-boot.
