Bill,

Unfortunately, there are several overtures (the Tampa Bay [00-12], San
Joaquin [00-26], and Charlotte [00-54] overtures) coming to G.A. this year
which would overrule the PJC, if passed.  And I'm not sure they won't pass.
However, I'm a commissioner to G.A. this year, and I'm committed to working
toward their defeat.  But I'm just one vote, from a presbytery which is
overwhelmingly against Amendment B.

The other "hot button" overtures, the ones from Beaver-Butler
[00-5, 00-6] will generate a lot of heat but don't really stand a chance of
passing.

And overtures I support, such as the ones from Milwaukee [00-40 through
00-43], Santa Fe [00-46], and Hudson River [00-48], will probably go down
in flames.
