SG³ This come from a Heloise column in the newspaper today. She said In a
SG³ cardboard box, mix equal amounts of borax, white cornmeal adding 3
SG³ tablespoons salt for each quart you mix up.
SG³
SG³ Put the flowers in, put the lid on the box and leave it there for about
SG³ 14 days. Make sure the flowers are covered well using a one inch layer
SG³ on the bottom and the top. Store it in a dry place.
SG³
SG³ When you think the flowers are dry, feel the petals to see if they are.
SG³ Once dry, remove them and brush with a makeup brush making sure to
SG³ remove all the mixture. It can then be used again.
I've heard of this before. One of these days I'll have to go looking
for the ingredients.
SG³ My big question: what do you do with these once you have them dried. I
SG³ have some from last year I never found a use for.
I make awesome cards with them. I decorate straw hats with them. You
can do all kinds of neat thing with them.
You can make potpourri with them too.
