I saw an ad the other day in Computerworld from
Ungermann-Bass for their family of networking
hardware including hubs and switches called
"GeoLan", "GeoRim", "GeoSwitch", and "GeoStax".
The ad also mentioned a "performance-enhancing,
graphical NetDirector network management solution"
Am I correct in assuming that this is a Geos
licensee?
Nice to know Geoworks is making some money
somewhere. :-).
Not that I make a habit of reading Computerworld
which is pitched to high end corporate IS types, but
I make a habit of responding to all the offers for
free magazine issues that come my way. Quite a different
world from the home users of Ensemble.
It helps me to understand that despite the frustrations
of dedicated desktop users, Geoworks really is trying to
"go hunting where the ducks are" and that's probably
not the pond we swim in!
