I don't believe that Mr. Martinez thinks that motivation is
created by what is entertaining, only. A person who takes a driving
exam learns the infomation because they want to be able to obtain a
license, not because they have developed an interest in rules of the
road. But, for a moment, they are motivated to learn the rules. So,
Mr. Martinez's theory does hold water, in that case, if that is what he
is implying.
