subject: Dried Flowers

Hi All -
This come from a Heloise column in the newspaper today. She said In a
cardboard box, mix equal amounts of borax, white cornmeal adding 3
tablespoons salt for each quart you mix up.
Put the flowers in, put the lid on the box and leave it there for about
14 days. Make sure the flowers are covered well using a one inch layer
on the bottom and the top. Store it in a dry place.
When you think the flowers are dry, feel the petals to see if they are.
Once dry, remove them and brush with a makeup brush making sure to
remove all the mixture. It can then be used again.
My big question: what do you do with these once you have them dried. I
have some from last year I never found a use for.
