No, but I live not far from Chicago, and even as far north as here in
Sheboygan would have benefited from the Olympics.
Local hotels, golf courses, etc.
One of the key boosters of the Olympics coming to Chicago was Herb
Kohler. Yes, the owner of Kohler Company.

I was just reading an article about the 2002 Olympics. Where first
Olympic committee corruption was exposed as rampant, then rampant
cronyism under Mitt Romney.
