Doctors aren't just ordinary people. They can exercise medical skills that
mean the difference of life or death to individuals who come under their care.

Persons who `doctor shop' for a doctor they can get what they want from are
taking chances with their own lives. A doctor only knows about a person what
they see written on a medical questionaire, and what they observe from an
examination.

In Jackson's case its a little different.

The gist I get is that Jackson had already gone to several doctors, and tried
to overwhelm them with his money to get them to do what he wanted, and was
turned down.

No matter what field or profession you're talking about, there's going to be
`someone' in that profession who puts their own monetary gain before
everything else.

The doctor who was giving Jackson stuff that is ordinarily `never' given
except under strictly controlled conditions, might have been unethical. That
he did it for the money Jackson was paying him is not in doubt. No
doctor I ever heard of would be spending as much time *at* a patient's home as
this doctor was doing, without being paid a considerable amount of money.

The doctor should be investigated by the proper medical board, and lose his
license to practice for good and all if he's found to be guilty of unethical
use of a narcotic that is restricted to use only under very controlled venues.

In an operating room, there are several medical personnel present, and a
patient is carefully monitored electronically, as things are going along.

If it is found that this doctor committed anything of a criminal nature, he
should be prosecuted, and go to prison.

Not for killing *Jackson*; Jackson was a slug! who, like O.J. Simpson, finally
pushed the envelope a bit too far.

But for violating his ethics in a highly critical profession, and committing a
crime in doing so.
