 It has been a while hasn't it ?  I have been so busy... but it
sounds as though you have been just as busy if not more so....  
  
->  Julia I've heard you mention the embossing ink that is in a "bingo 
dauber" 
-> before and I've looked high and low and can't find one.  Do you sell them? 
-> I would very much like to have one.  I'm so sick of the clear embossing 
-> pads.  They don't always distribute the ink properly and the dauber sounds 
-> like a perfect solution. 
 
 I have found these "dauber" type of embossing inks to be the best for me
so far... the biggest problem is getting the feel of the flow of the ink in
the dauber... I often get to heavy of a covering... but then patting it onto
my handy towel takes care of that problem.. but it take a bit to figure out
just the right amount to apply.  And yes I do sell them... I will send you
e-mail on the partictulars. 
 
 
->   I have had some problems lately, but I think it is my embossing pads or 
-> perhaps the humidity.  I'm searching for a new way to use the clear 
-> embossing ink as I said above.  When I use colored pigment ink I have no 
-> problems with the puff powder, but lately I get one good result out of 
-> three when I use the clear ink.  I have refilled my pads but still the ink 
-> doesn't seem to stay wet enough.  It's strange really I've never had this

Have you tried taking a small paint brush and applying the ink that way
onto the area that you want to cover... this is how I do it in some of those
cramped  or specific areas that I want to cover....  I am able to get a 
mooth
coverning this way.   
  
-> I had a ball today Julia.  I spent the first half of my day doing crafts 
-> and the second half shopping for more supplies.  
-> I used a design press kit that someone had given me for my birthday last 
-> May, for the first time.  It was so much fun.  I bought some more paint 
and 
-> some more presses when I went shopping.  I also got a pkg. of Vellum paper 
-> and a etchling.  I have no real idea how to use it, but I'm excited about 
-> trying.  I think maybe this is something I can use my new light box with.

-> While I was at the craft store the night manager told me that they are 
-> going to hire now and that she whould talk to the other manager about me 
-> and for me to come in tomarrow and talk to the manager.  I guess it isn't 
-> to bad when the people that work there reccommend you.  I'll not get my

-> I made the neatest box today.  I started with a brown oval paper mache 
box. 
-> I painted it with two coats of Aileens Gree Sage paint.  Then I stenciled 
-> a cherup on the front in a dusty rose pink.  Then I cut a square out of 
-> compressed sponge and put pink squares around the edge. Mind you I'd never 
-> done any of this before so it was really fun and experimental.

-> After I got done with that part I still felt like I wanted more, so I put 
-> some glue and clear glitter on the cherups wings (maybe it's a fat angel 
-> and not a cherub. I don't know). I still didn't thing that was enough. So

-> mixed some pink ep, spellbinder ep, and green puff ep.  I rolled clear 
-> embossing ink over the entire top of the box and then put the ep mixture 
on 
-> it.  I heated it up as usual.  It is so pretty!  That spellbinder ep is so 
-> beautiful.  I'm almost out i've got to call Posh and order some more soon.

-> Well, that wasn't enough of course so I rolled and sponded the inside of 
-> the box and put the ep in there and heated it up.  That part I'm not so 
-> happy with, but it's not awful.  Next time I think I'll put some felt 
-> inside instead. After all that was done I put liquid laminate all over it 
-> to seel it. Then came the big test.  Would the lid go on the box after all 
-> that goop and heat?  The answer is no. So I put vaseline on the rim inside 
-> of the lid.  Still it is sticking.  It's pulled the paint off. I'm so 
mad!! 
 
  WOW! you definitly had a very crafty day didn't you... I hope the job
huting goes well for you today!!! Definitly keep us all posted on the 
rogress
of finding a job. 
  The box sounds good enough to eat!!!  I have been sitting here thinking
of what you could do to fix it so the lid would fit correctly...not that I
have come up with much to suggest... the only thing I can think of is to 
lear
off from the lip of the box all the goodies you did... and then maybe paint
a flat line to match the rest of the primary coloring of the box... and then
remember for the next box to mark off where NOT to paint or embellish
. This is definitly a tough one! 
 
  Today I have a crafty day planned... Well sort of anyway.. I have just
finished making my first shaker card... I am pleased with how it came out
for the most part... I was a bit off on the front of the card but no one will
really notice that I made a small opps! 
  I am also going to make a trip to pick up my stamp of the month today...
then the plan is to continue working on the wedding invitations.  They are
coming along but much slower than I want them to. I just keep getting
sidetracked with all the other things that I am attempting to get 
accomplished and
they have had to take a back seat. 
  I want to make at least one more shaker card... I have it started... and
the shaker part of the card is completed with a viewing window to both
sides. Now I just have to decide on which stamp I want to work into the front 
of
the card and the verse stamps... then I will be in business. 
  I am also doing at least one piece a day of pergamano still.. I am just
loving it! 
    Well it is time to get Jerry up for work and get this day going!  it is
already 10:00am and I have a lot to do today...
