BF>> I forgot to ask about your telephone number.

 BF>> I see it is (985) 892-5839.
 BF>> What is (985)? California?

 RN> Louisiana.

OK.

BF>> And 892 is a areacode in LA?

 RN> No, 985 is. 892 is a prefix.

Sorry, I mix up area code and prefix.
We only have area code and number.

BF>> And 5839 is your number?

RN> Yes, the last four digits.

Can you, from the numer, see where in the town the subscriber live?
I can here but it's about to expire. My number is 35371 and the first 3
says it belong to Bralanda and that is about 10 km from here and the
5 says it this area and 3 and 71 says it's just around where I live.

BF>> If I should call you, should I call your number without leaving any digit
 BF>> out? I call 001 985 892 5839?

 RN> You'd get a computer answering tone.

It was busy, now! I called 09.48 my time and that will mean 03.48 your time
if you are having NY time.

BF>> What will answer? Your BBS? Could you see that it was me calling?

RN> The mailer will answer. The answer to your last question is yes, because
RN> the mailer records all incoming calls.

Even foregin calls?
If you rang me I think it would be shown as an unlisted numer.
