Hello All!

The mailhub machine was mysteriously powered off on its own between 3am and
5am EDT on Sunday 09/20/09.

I had a mystery glitch with the machine the other day when I got home from
work. A Log window was missing and my persistent ssh connection was down,
but the hub was still up.

One possible and probable cause is the UPS that machine is plugged into,
the UPS wants me to replace its battery, so perhaps a power blink is the
cause?

Another plausibility is a task that was long overdue, heat.. I took both
Linux Boxes into the Garage today and fired up my air compressor and blew
out all the dust from inside the cases, in every nook and cranny.

I'll keep and eye on any further misbehaving, I got the machine plugged
into another UPS, I have 4 of them.

Hopefully no more misbehaving.

I do have more changes in the works, I plan on relegating one of my linux
boxes to backup status, meaning on the shelf for a rainy day, as I am
expecting a new machine in the next couple weeks. When I do this, the
mailhub will be on the linux box that has a dual core processor. The new
machine is going to supplement my existing Windows system, the new machine
is going to have a AMD Phenom quad core processor, 8 gigs of ram etc..
