Villeneuve booked to test new circuit

(19-Oct-98) - Jacques Villeneuve will be the first F1 driver to test the
latest addition to the 1999 calendar when he attends a test at Zhuhai next
week.

The reigning world champion will go to the all new Zhuhai International
Circuit in southern China with Williams, where according to reports, he
will spend two hours on the track and will complete several laps in a car
provided for him.

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has chosen has Zhuhai to be showcase Formula
One's move to Asia. More Asian events are set to follow. Zhuhai is
scheduled to stage it's first ever Grand Prix next year on March 21.
