I don't know anything about HP. I use a Microtek Scanner and Microtek has 
been very good about 32 bit support for all thier scanners, but as I 
understand it, Microtek is the largest scanner mfg in the world (they claim 
to have about 33% of the market). Maybe HP needs to wake up and as Ann 
Landers would say "smell the coffee".
There are 32 bit scanner drivers for older HP Scanners. Is the 5P "backwards 
compatible" with HP's older scanners that do work in NT? I'm pretty sure that 
there are HP II scanner drivers floating around that work in NT. I have some 
that you can F'req. I don't know if they work in NT or not cause I've never 
tested them, but they are -supposed- to.
