SH-->i am currently using q-modem,and i am wondering if someone can answer
  -->the following question:i am looking for host mode,but the only thing
  -->that sounds "close" to it is something called split-screen mode.i want
  -->a program that has host mode,like comit(which i used to have).i press
  -->alt-s,and get split-screen mode.this is not what i need.i want host mode
  -->so people can call me via computer and "talk" to me,so to speak.
  -->can anyone tell me if q-modem has host mode?if so,it's not listed in
  -->the command menu when i press the home key.thanks a lot for taking time
  -->to read this,and ANY information will be most appreciated.

On most versions of Qmodem, host mode is alt and 5, if you really don't
know how to find it, press alt and n for install, and you will see all
of your options, including host.
