It had to be designed in from the beginning. Where Clipper 5 has the
SET EPOCH command, Summer 87 does not. Also the dBASE III file format
stored dates with a default century where other formats didn't. I
*think* dBASE II didn't store a century.
If you're spanning one hundred years, as in doing birthdate/age
calculations, SET EPOCH doesn't help.
But you're right. With Clipper 5, it's a lot easier.
