My 72 had a total of 54 gallon capacity fuel tanks. I could drive from San
Diego to San Jose under 8 hours (525miles) non-stop, before they opened
I-5. On old 99, I'd usually stop half-way (Bakersfield) for a stretch and
a cup of coffee anyway.
