subject: Crusade DVD specs vs B5 DVD specs

My Crusade DVDs have finally come back into rotation for the first time
since I got a wide-screen TV. And I'm disappointed. Now that I've got
better playback equipment, I can really see and notice just how bad
these disks are.

Putting it plainly, it's a horrible transfer.

First off, where the B5 transfers are in widescreen, Crusade's aren't.
If B5 was actually recorded in wide, wasn't Crusade? I'm also seeing
more instances where it looks like "they" mis-cropped the frame. I've
seen several instances where the only character on screen is missing
the top of their head - usually just from the hairline up, but
occasionally lower.

Not to mention that the Excalibur is upside down on the disk's "album
cover" that is displayed when the player is on but stopped.
