Fames drives Schumacher from Germany Copyright c 1998 Nando Media Copyright c 1998 Agence France-Presse BONN (Oct 19, 1998 - 10:20 EDT) - Two-time world motor racing champion Michael Schumacher said Monday that his fame made it impossible for him to live in Germany. With his wife Corrina expecting the couples' second child, the Ferrari driver, who lives in Switzerland, said Germany would be the worst place for his children to grow up. He complained that they would always be pointed at and described as the daughters of Schumacher. His comments came in an interview with Die Welt. The 29-year-old put down his racing success to his discipline. "Without discipline you are nothing," he said. Schumacher is attempting to win his third title. The final race of the season in Japan and the German trails current leader Mika Hakkinen by four points. --- Msged/386 4.20 beta 4* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Melbourne, Australia (3:635/728.4{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/267 |
