-> First, I certainly don't want to start a gun control debate. The only

Some states you cant own any class 3 weapon (machine guns) and that
stupid 'assualt weapon' ban banned most full automatic shotguns. Such
as the 'Street Sweaper' and 'Striker 7'. Also put limits on AR-15/M-16
rifles past 1993 regarding barrels. I'm sorry but a AR-15 is around
1600 bucks, and the barrels they wanted to ban were around 800 dollars
and used primarly by big game hunters and marksmen, how many street
thugs do you know that are going to buy a 1600 dollar rifle and 800
dollar barrel desiugned to shoot 3 inch groups and 100 yards? No
they're going to go down to K-mart and buy a SKS assault rifle for 89
bucks (thats how much they are at the K-mart by my house) And shoot
someone at 15 feet.
