My ex had a Chevelle (I forget the year) that had that overdrive
transmission in it, so you could shift it from 2nd to 3rd without using the
clutch.

Skiing is definitely out for me, but I miss riding horses.  I was on one
every night during the week after work and most of the day on weekends.  I
still remember the first time I got on one.  When I got home that night,
the seat of my pants was bloody from not knowing how to sit a horse.  I
learned very fast after that.  There are some interesting and unusual
things that can be done on horseback.  (-:[
