Yep I saw that story when we were down there. AFAIC they were bloody fools
taking a late model car into a known problem area, & bloody lucky to
get away with their lives. I'd love to see some idiot being charged with
incitment.
Honestly it's about as smart as standing on top of a hill during a lighting
storm, wearing copper armour, screaming "all the gods are
bastards".

JT> Yeah but a brick is not "considered" a lethal weapon. Or a
JT> baseball bat, ditto cricket bat, a car steering wheel lock even.
JT> Yet ALL of these have been used for the purpose of terminating

Depends in what state you're in. It's a "state of confussion
here"... A bloke was found guilty in Toowoomba for carrying
"impliments for break & entering" namely a pair of sox.
Unfortunately it's one of the many loopy decissions made by a senile
magistrate here. I'm waiting for the first time that precident is used...
Others include
"Pocessing implements for taking drugs" a spoon [from a
kitchen draw
- _no_ testing was ever done on the spoon] & a
lighter [she was a tobacco smoker].
Can't remember the charges, but the 14 girl screemed "Oink"
at a police car. The magistrate chastised the police
'cause he could think of many more things to charge her with.
But we all know the legal "system" here is stuffed....
Ray.
