If your bios will handle a dx4 cpu of any kind, it will handle the AMD
chip.
You will need to set you jumpers to give you a 3x clock multiplier at
66 Mhz.
this wil actually give you a 180 Mhz speed on this chip, but with a good
fan, it should run no problems.

Actually. He would also need to know if his motherboard is a 5volt,
3volt, or both. My brother's computer was a 5volt only. I didn't know this,
and bought an AMD 586-133 chip, and found it wouldn't boot. I had to buy a
Kingston Turbo chip, which is an AMD 586-133 with a built in voltage
converter.
AMD chips are 3volt chips. AMD told me they no longer make 5volt chips
anymore.
