Just to show you the absurdity of what the Americans are reporting regarding
Sunday's Iraqi election, in another NYT article, Christopher R. Hill, the
American ambassador to Iraq, stated that "It was really a good day for Iraqi
democracy". In the same article, Hill also states that it was a "very quiet
and very orderly" election.

My gosh! Who does this guy think he is kidding? Does he really think that
the American public is that stupid? Apparently so.

Another paragraph in the same NYT article states:

"General Odierno also would not confirm a death toll from Sunday's violence,
which Iraqi security and hospital officials and witnesses said killed at
least 38 in Baghdad and wounded dozens more."

Now, how in the world does Hill equate at least 38 dead in Baghdad alone,
and dozens more wounded in Baghdad, not to mention the violence and death
that occurred in other Iraqi cities -- as a "very quiet and very orderly"
election?

Did Hill forget to take his meds?

The fact is, these American politicians and military men are blatant liars.
They will lie through their teeth in order to try to maintain the American
public's support for that terrible, illegal war. They are trying to prove
that the seven-year illegal occupation of Iraq has done some good, by
outright lying about this election.
