Also basically the reviews haven't changed in.......15 years?
I bought one at Kings Cross coz I'd already read most of the news magazines
(coming back from somewhere foreign). I was struck by a sense of deja vue.
A few days later by pure chance my mother asked if I was intending to keep
lots of old mags & stuff & thus I had to potter round & sort
out any I wanted to keep.
This included some of the same titles but from 1992/1993 with great titles
such as "We test latest screaming 486-DX33'es !!!"
"DOS or Windows which is right for you" etc.
Once more I was struck by the mag I'd just bought so instead of chucking
them into the wood box for recycling into heat & ash I brought them
home.
You can put em side by side & only the product/company names have
changed (a lot fewer names is noticeable e.g. MS is just one company in the
old mags whereas now there is MS & then there is everyone else).
386/486 "screamer" > Quad Core P4 etc. DOS or Windows > XP or Vista
etc.etc.
