| subject: | [news] Teams agree to 20-race F1 future |
Teams agree to 20-race F1 future (27-Oct-98) - The F1 calendar could expand to as many as 20 races following consent being given by teams to make an amendment to the Concorde Agreement. This move could allow 20 races per season within the next three years, something that until now teams have been strongly against. The move follows pressure from Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone, who want less testing and more races. Ecclestone has South Africa, South Korea, the USA and Lebanon all pushing to be included in the next few years. --- Msged/386 4.20 beta 4* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Melbourne, Australia (3:635/728.4{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/267 |
