I've done thousands of voiceovers for radio stations, large and small,
across America. Worked for a couple of dozen (and a couple of networks)
in addition. I've found the Electro Voice RE 20 to be an exceptional
microphone for the price, and superior to most professional broadcast
mikes. It typically lists for around $ 550.00. I got mine from Pro
Audio Supply in Dallas a couple of years ago for $ 325.00 plus shipping.
There are other pro mikes that also work well (I also have some of
them), but you can use the RE 20 with ANY studio application and be
proud of the results. It's readily available from professional audio
suppliers. Call 1-800-555-1212 (800 information) for the 800 number for
Pro Audio Supply in Dallas, or call Dallas information. Good luck!
