THE CALIFORNIA PRIMARIES -- STEP 1 OF "TAKING IT BACK"
        ======================================================

As you probably know, the California Primaries are in 5 days.

The 2000 elections represent a final breakwater against those who
attack the rights of gun-owners simply because it is politically
expedient to do so. One could assume this after the gun-control
rampage set upon by Governor Grey Davis and his Democratically-
  controlled legislature in 1999.

But if you haven't heard, there is a very real and greater
threat in the 2000 California elections, one that endangers not
  only California, but our nation.

In 2002, California will redraw it's districts. If the Democrats
control both houses of the legislative as well as the executive
branches of the state government at that time, the result is
likely to be so slanted as to firmly entrench the House of
Representatives of the United States in the hands of freedom's
enemies. Even if the GOP holds Congress in the 2000 elections,
the additional number of California Congressional seats will
"REVERSE THE PREVIOUS ELECTION" (where have we heard *that*
before?) and flip the House from Republican to Democrat control.

As the final piece in the picture, we must remember that were it
not for the pro-freedom Reps in the House of Representatives last
year, Clinton would have laid waste to our rights with his
Columbine-inspired "Juvenile Justice Legislation" (Al Gore cast
the deciding vote in the Senate!) AND THIS LEGISLATION IS BACK
  AGAIN! See...

Our first step to winning the 2000 elections in California IS THE
MARCH 7 PRIMARY. NRA has released their grades/ratings for all
California Assembly and Senate Candidates. See...

PLEASE NOTE the NRA-recommended crossover primary vote for
Wildman against Scott (AD 21) and Kuehl against Knox (AD 23).

Please make sure that this information gets to every gun-owner
that is registered to vote. And MOST IMPORTANTLY... if you know
gun-owners that AREN'T REGISTERED TO VOTE, make sure to get them
to fix that BEFORE OCTOBER!!! (It's too late for them to vote
in this primary - must be registered 30 days before an election).
