Reissue only refers to design, features, and sound.  The schematic is nearly 
the same (there's a few solid state components in there), but it's going to 
sound close to the original.
There's no way to be price competitive using point to point wiring these 
days... why do you think a Matchless costs a hundred bucks a watt?
