Compaq has a very nice lookup system on the webb..  You choose the line
(Presario), the model (4710), then look for what you want..  The buisness
model lookup is much better then the home line, and includes OS/2 for some
drivers..

I would have thought the Presario would have a normal IDE controller in it.. 
This would leave the video as a possible problem..  It should have ESS audio
which I did get to work (I think)..
