I'd put Comodo on it. Also install HostsMan on it, and configure it under
options to use the MVPS Hosts File. Have it automatically overwrite the
current file upon updating. Have it lock the Hosts file. Have it run upon
startup. I've been running version 2.1 for a couple years. No problems
and no conflicts. I've found that unlike some of the other hosts sites
that are offered for updates to the hosts file, the MVPS one is the
cleanest, smallest, and just goes after blocking the ad sites and
virus/trojan sites.
It has never blocked a site on me I really wanted to go to. Works with
both IE and Firefox. Probably Opera too but don't know for sure. If kept
running it will keep other programs from modifying the hosts file.

Hostmans 2.1 can be found at http://www.tucows.com/preview/407252

You can configure the MVPS hosts file for updates from within the options
tab of Hostsman but if you want more info on the MVPS site its at
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

If at all possible convince them to junk all the AOL crap and dig all its
browser extensions, plugins, and registry changes out of the thing and send
them where they belong. I've seen AOL's crap completely screw up various
people's computers so that nothing works BUT AOL.

Good Luck,

Gary
