Are you sure we aren't related?
I was making shredded cole slaw and suddenly - a burning sensation on tip of
right index finger. Automatically turned on faucet and stuck my finger under
the running water which had taken on a bright red tint.
Off to Sick Bay to get it looked at. Had it bandaged and wrapped and go a
tetnus shot to add insult to injury.
Finally found my fingertip on the slicer blade - had searched all through the
cole slaw. Figured I'd added some protein to the veggies.
And yes, there is still the callous/scar tissue. Fortunately, I was slicing
the cabbage really fine so didn't do as much damage as you did.
To top it all off, I sold some Avon Shave Cream for Sensitive Skin to the
Corpsman that took care of my finger.
