I am on Central time.  NY is Eastern time, an hour later than my area. 
Your time is approximately 6 hours later than where I am.

Yes.  Any calls coming in to the number below are first logged, then
answered.  I can almost imagine the frustration on the faces of
telemarketers who call that number.  When they hear the answering tone,
which is almost deafening to them because it's unexpected, they try a new
tactic -- they try sending a FAX.  That isn't going to work because my
mailer, though it will answer FAX calls, is configured to log the call, but
not accept the FAX.
