  I hate to interject, but personally I think even asking that question is 
ludicrous.  You're implying that Microsoft is buying off developers to force 
them to use their OS, which is obviously not true; they'd be out of money by 
now if they did.  Just because they're developing for an OS you may not 
totally enjoy doesn't mean they're being bribed to do so.  Would you argue 
that the Bulls win games so often because they pay other teams to play badly?
