From: Gary Britt It will be poetic justice that if after completely screwing the pooch with Vista and its buggy code, performance robbing software and hardware, and often incompatible DRM is King strategy, that MS finds itself pushing the DRM bloated and buggy VISTA at a time when the content world has moved to No DRM. I love it. If this happened and MS threw Vista out and started over with Win2K or XP as a base they might actually come up with an operating system that doesn't steal the performance out of your hardware and actually does things the way their real customers want to buy. Then if they ever end their ridiculously high monopoly pricing, go back to what they achieved with Win2K (ONE VERSION OF WINDOWS) they might actually save themselves.
