Uhhh, no, the 400 block, 350 crank deal comes out about 377 or so. We
ran that combination in a sprint car for a while and it worked OK. The
383 is a .030-over 350 block with a 400 crank turned down to 350 main
bearing size. You can use standard 400 rods and 350 pistons or 350 rods
and special 350 pistons with the pin hole moved up for the longer 350
rod. You use a 400 harmonic balancer and flex plate or flywheel.
This is a pretty popular deal. I've built a number for customers but
you have to clearance the block for the rods.
