-=> Quoting Roger Fingas to Lee Jackson <=-
RF> On MuchMusic (the Canadian equivalent of MTV, with a lot more
RF> actual *music*), I recently saw the KMFDM video, "Megalomaniac."
RF> They're a pretty decent techno group - how did they pass the
RF> "Broussard test," anyway?
LJ> I have no idea. I think the rest of the Prey team ganged up on him and
LJ> beat him into submission. Either that, or he saw their credits in the
LJ> Mortal Kombat soundtrack.
Maybe he's finally succumbed to public pressure...nah. ;)
RF> But moving on I've been listening to the Prodigy's second CD,
RF> especially "Voodoo People" and "No Good (Start the Dance)". I
RF> think you mentioned liking Voodoo People, at least.
LJ> This is true - it's one of my favorites that they've done. I love the
LJ> synth solo patches they used.
RF> You know, it would be great if you could get KMFDM to do a
RF> remix of some Prodigy tracks. .
LJ> Probably won't happen. I don't know how KMFDM feels about The Prodigy.
LJ> Besides, that's an entirely different can of legal
LJ> worms that we don't want
LJ> to open.
Remixes are done all the time, though! Ah, well. It may be a dream,
but I'd love to see it happen.
BTW - have you heard anything from the Quake II soundtrack yet?
