Value is very dependent upon condition and rarity of vehicle. Some cars are
said to sell for upwards of $200 EACH, while others are in the .50-1.00
nge.
I have found several books on collection and valuing Hot Wheels (nothing to
date on Matchbox, but I am not as interested in them personally), and can
only say to scan a major bookstore in the "Collecting" shelves and see if you
can find one.
I did read somewhere that there is a store that mail-order buys/sells Hot
Wheels, but I am not sure if I was browsing or buying when I read that.
As an owner of several hundred vehicles, it would be interesting to see which
ones you have. I'd like to make you an offer, but cash is a seldom seen item
in this house anymore. I could trade for computer equipment, but valuation
is a big issue, for both of us.
