That's a real shame. There's still a lot of die-hard DOS addicts like me
still around! Guess with all the new systems shipping with Win 95 the
market is getting large enough for game makers to switch to the most
popular/numerous operating system... Forget the installed base of users!
Why not offer a choice of platform during install? There's certainly enough
room to place both on a CD-ROM isn't there? Or is it just too much work to
do a version that runs under the DOS extender?
I do run 95 as well as DOS on my system with System Commander, but spend
most of my time in DOS/WIN 3.1 (Still my oldest and best friend!).
Windows has never been the best gaming platform in my opinion...
My two-cents worth anyway...
