One of my friends in high school bought a delapidated tractor when he
graduated. He rebuilt the engine in the hot rod shop where we both had a
membership. He made enough money hauling cattle hides to San Francisco
from the Chicago stockyards to buy himself a new rig in less than 3 years.

Last I saw him was at our 30th HS reunion in 1989. I'll see him again this
fall, if he shows up at the 50th.
