I got a ticket in 1999 for failure to stop at a stop sign. My first ticket
since the three speeding tickets I got in 1980. That cop and I went round
and round on the spot, he claimed that I didn't stop at the 'limit line'
and I said I couldn't see a limit line from where I was sitting. I had
come to a stop behind a car that had no brakes and I really couldn't see
the limit line. I took photogramphic proof to the court and proved that I
couldn't see the limit line, but the cop lied and said that I had stopped
further back than I actually had and the judge sided with the cop.
