You didn't understand what I said.  showtime governs something that is on
the SIXTH line from the top of the screen, not the FIRST.  You won't see
the time determined by showtime if you have one of the other options set,
which I can't remember (show user name or something), which uses the same
space.  Or vice versa.  BFN.  Paul.
