I mourn the lack of bad beers. :) When I was in college in the late 80s, there was a variety of cheap, watery beers that were perfect for the college life style. Brown Derby, Schaefer's, Red White and Blue, Carling Black Label, Heidelberg, Schmidt, and others were around $3.00 a 12-pack, and there was a variety of inexpensive nationwide beers - all a tier or two below the coors/bud/miller tier.
