GC> The windows are configured in DV to use 1 meg of EMS memory. Msged 4.00 GC> swapping to disk to open window 5 tells me there is NO memory left at all. GC> If there were, Msged 4.00 would use it to swap and additional windows could GC> be opened. The only other program I've ever see do this was a file manager GC> called Wizard. In Wizard you can limit the amount of memory used with an GC> enviorment variable. Here's a bit from Wizard's docs; Well, first of all, there are multiple programs going under the name of "msged 4.00", like about 4 of them under DOS, and 2 more if you add dos4gw. To start off, does MSGED.EXE, which comes in archive MSGED400.ZIP, and is 258632 bytes in size, dated 1996-08-10, have this problem? If it does, then do you have access to PACIFIC C (PACIFIC.EXE on a BBS you have access to)? That is the only way I can debug these programs - at the source level. BFN.
