KA> Hasn't it yet dawned on you that the media makes it's fortune on

Sometimes it deserves all the media hype. We just had two Ventura
County CHP's charged with all sorts of things... starting with
kidnapping, assualt under color of authority, etc etc.
Seems they took a dislike to the homeless around their beat and
focused on one particular individual relentlessly. They'd literally
"collect" him, drive him to God only knows where and drop him off in
the middle of nowhere. On occasion they'd even Mace him, apparently
for practise. This was numerous times... I mean like more times than
I can count on all my fingers.
In fairness, I don't have all the particulars but the media played it,
big time, for a couple of days. They're now in the process of being
fired and DA's looking at mulitple charges. Other than that, that's
all I know.
Never thought CHP would allow even one of those in their ranks, much
less two.
