will protect children and innocent families from unnecessary intervention,
will NASVO or VOCAL cease to exist?

Dear NASVO;
        I was one of those confused by the Missouri VOCAL newsletter touting
the 1995 National Conference.  Fortunately, I contacted your office and was
relieved to find that NASVO is not associated with this group.
        I had discovered through the Internet that the leader of the group
called Missouri VOCAL pled guilty to child endangerment and had publicly
admitted compelling his child to punishment in a small animal cage because
of behavior problems.  I was concerned to see that he and his supporters
still insist on using the name VOCAL.  I always thought that VOCAL 
represented the FALSELY accused, and now a group headed by this guy is
holding a national VOCAL conference.  What gives?
