As fate would have it, I posted my note after seeing a NIGHTLINE bit about
this year 2000 bug thing, but since then I have seen someone make such claims
about several other bbs packages within their user database structures.
And opus has always done its' dates just a bit different internally (recall
all of those BOP proggies and hassles about opus not meeting Fidonet
standards??)
