True, and good idea, though I would have it as Tonto's Grandson, who is named 
after him.  Tonto's son could have been killed when his grandson was a baby, 
leaving Tonto to raise his grandson on his own.  The Original Tonto, who is 
now consider The Old Wise Man, could become aware that the Grand Nephew of 
his old companian (The Lone Ranger) is missing and in grave danger, he could 
send his grandson to assist a young Ikano Kato in pursuit of his resque.

It would indeed be interesting, regardless of how it was done alright, but 
would have been even more interesting if they gave a tip of the hat to their 
predessors, as was the inspiration for the custom made motorcycles.  The 
horses they could use for when they have to have to hunt in the woods, and 
the motorcycles when they are in the streets.
