BA> RS>>>> They quote what they *CLAIM* is the word of God. BA> JB>>> English is a tough language. I already said there are a BA> JB>>> number of places where they quote the word of God. I know of BA> JB>>> nobody who claims each and every word of the Bible is the word BA> JB>>> of God. Nobody. BA> RS>> AGAIN, dummy, these are *CLAIMS* to be the "word of God." BA> JB> Off topic. The Bible notes the word of God vs not. You should BA> JB> try and read it sometime. The Bible does not claim every word BA> JB> written in it is the word of God. BA>True. But some if not most fundamentalist Christians claim that it - BA>all of it - is the inspired word of God. That was Sauer's latest spin. He started out stating that fundamentalists proclaim that God wrote the Bible. I stated that I have never heard anyone make this claim. Then it was above they "claim" it is the word of God. Next came the inspired word of God. The line keeps moving. I don't believe that any Fundamentalist Christian would claim that each and every word in the Bible is the inspired word of God, if someone sat down and had a rational conversation with them. You can read the Bible and see that. The word of God is not quoted in each and every sentence.
