Hi There!
I am interested in setting up a aquarium (dimensions 6x2x2) specifically for
slow to moderate growing plants (to eliminate pruning) and want to know if
The Optimum Aquarium method (with heaters and special soil in the bottom of
the aquarium) is a good technique. I am mainly interested in a low
maintenance aquarium which will have plants that will not die off shortly
after planting and will be concentrating on keeping tetras. I was successful
before with tetras but not with the plants as they would not flourish in a
tank with an undergravel filter (perhaps they required CO2) or a special
substrate. Anyone out there with any views or input, please leave me a
message and also I am very interested in discus and would love to hear from
you if you keep discus!
